LEFT HAND Lyrics
[Intro]
Outstanding
Girl, you knock me out, out, out, out
[Chorus: KB]
If you got a ring on ya finger, put ya left hand up
That’s right, show ’em you in love
A ring on ya finger, put ya left hand up
That’s right, that’s right
A ring on ya finger, put ya left hand up
That’s right, show ’em you in love (That’s right)
A ring on ya finger, put ya left hand up (Yeah)
That’s right, that’s right (Ayy, ayy)
[Verse 1: KB]
All my homies knew that I was gone the day that she came in
If that girl a ball and chain, just lose the key, I’m staying here
Fell in love at 18, 18 years later, it’s truly why
The honeymoon, it didn’t end, I guess we didn’t do it right
If I had a second life, uh
I’d marry you a second time
No lie, never had a side, I never needed one, the entrée too fire
No love at first sight, no love for one night
But love for a whole wife, she first your whole life to have and to hold tight, yeah
I’ma play this song when I’m way too old
And I spent every dime that I had on the first ring
Hoping that you love it
Only had 600 bucks, had to squint at the rock but, ballin’ on a budget
Yeah, when I finally got a check, the first thing that I did
Bought a bigger rock for the bigger level
You said “Return that ring, we got a baby on the way
And, I like the first ring better”
What?
[Pre-Chorus: Aklesso]
That’s right, yeah, that’s right, yeah
You can have my eyes
‘Til we die, ’til we die, yeah
Hold you through the night, yeah
That’s right, yeah, that’s right, yeah
‘Til then, we gon’ slide
I’m with you, that’s alright
I’m with you, that’s alright
[Chorus: KB]
If you got a ring on ya finger, put ya left hand up (Let’s go)
That’s right (Let’s go), show ’em you in love
A ring on ya finger, put ya left hand up (Let’s go)
That’s right (That’s right), that’s right (That’s right)
A ring on ya finger, put ya left hand up (Let’s go)
That’s right (Let’s go), show ’em you in love (That’s right)
A ring on ya finger, put ya left hand up (That’s right)
That’s right (That’s right), that’s right
[Verse 2: Terrian]
2018, put my left hand up
That’s right, it’s still up
Some roll the dice, some call it luck
Uh, this an old school love
Divine (Divine), God’s timing, everything aligned
When you walked into my life
Flipped my whole world down upside
Like who is he? (He) Where he from? (From)
I like his style and the way he talk
A man of God and respects his mom (Okay)
Whole lotta fun, but he get the work done
Little bit of street, whole lotta class
When he met me, foot up on the gas
Ready for that ring, then he called my dad
“Hey Mr. Bass, can I take your daughter’s hand?”
[Pre-Chorus: Aklesso, Terrian]
That’s right, yeah, that’s right, yeah (Yeah)
You can have my eyes (Ooh)
‘Til we die, ’til we die, yeah
Hold you through the night, yeah (Hold you through the night)
That’s right, yeah, that’s right, yeah
‘Til then, we gon’ slide
I’m with you, that’s alright
I’m with you, that’s alright (Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
[Chorus: KB]
If you got a ring on ya finger, put ya left hand up (Let’s go)
That’s right (Let’s go), show ’em you in love
A ring on ya finger, put ya left hand up (Let’s go)
That’s right (That’s right), that’s right (That’s right)
A ring on ya finger, put ya left hand up (Let’s go)
That’s right (Let’s go), show ’em you in love (That’s right)
A ring on ya finger, put ya left hand up (That’s right)
That’s right (That’s right), that’s right
[Bridge: Aklesso]
I do, I do
Just say I do, I do
I, I, I do
Just say I do, I do
I do, baby, my boo
For you
[Outro: Aklesso]
Who that girl over there?
Now who that? Who that?
Let me see you now
Who that girl over there?
Now who that? Who that? My left hand
Step to right, now wig
Step to the left, now jook
Now step to the right, now wig
Step to the left, now jook
Who-who-who that girl over there?
Now who that? Who that?
Let me see you now
Who that girl over there?
Now who that? Who that? My left hand
Step to right, now wig
Step to the left, now jook
Now step to the right, now wig
Step to the left, now jook
We step to the right, to the right, to the right
To the right, to the right, to the right, to the right
