idea 1 Lyrics
[Verse 1]
Tighter and tighter, holdin’ her lover, he’ll burn it down
Darker and darker, thought you’d be home, but no one around
Oh
Cloud and the crater, scorch every acre, don’t make a sound
Pride and delusion, hide the solution deep in the ground
Oh
[Chorus]
Bearing your cross, it’s your loss, now I’m jaded
Know it ain’t right (Don’t you look away)
Reason to pause, but you make sure to hide it
Are you alive? (I don’t wanna wait)
Made it across, it’s your loss, now I’m jaded
Know it ain’t right (Something ain’t right)
Reason to pause, but you make sure to hide it
Are you alive? (There’s nowhere to hide)
[Verse 2]
Deeper and deeper, thought it’d be over, done with by now (Still here somehow)
Count every hour, summon the power (Oh, the hour), something profound
Oh
Dare to come over, little bit closer, will we fall out? (Another round)
Building it up, tearing it down, where are we now?
Oh
[Chorus]
Bearing your cross, it’s your loss, now I’m jaded
Know it ain’t right (Don’t you look away)
Reason to pause, but you make sure to hide it
Are you alive? (I don’t wanna wait)
Made it across, it’s your loss, now I’m jaded
Know it ain’t right (Something ain’t right)
Reason to pause, but you make sure to hide it
Are you alive? (There’s nowhere to hide)
[Outro]
Touch you to wake up
We lie inside (Hand on mine)
Only decay (Somehow we stayed alone)
So we decay (Somehow we stayed alone)
