Everything you wanted, everything you needed
Twice as much in only half of the time
Put the money down first, baby, pushing back hurts
When you gonna get in line?
This is what you wanted, right?
Nobody moves, nobody dies
Children better run and hide
Daddy’s got a gun and your caviar iced
(Baby, pour the wine)
[Pre-Chorus]
Thy will be done, thy will be done
‘Till kingdom come, if that ever comes
I feel so numb under your thumb
I feel so numb
[Chorus]
They don’t give a damn about us
Your pretty tears are going to waste
You dug a grave for both of us
And now it’s too late
‘Cause you got what you want
Now bow down to your God
And no, he doеsn’t give a damn about us
And I’m done trying to save you
[Verse 2]
Push a littlе harder, push a little farther
Lock the panic in the back of your mind
Bodies in the crossfire, empathy’s a vampire
Truth for sale and saviors for hire
This is what you wanted, right?
Choking on ash, sipping Kool-Aid
Better lock your door tonight
Help will never come, but we’re sure gonna pray
(This is your life)
[Pre-Chorus]
Thy will be done, thy will be done
‘Till kingdom come, if that ever comes
I feel so numb under your thumb
I feel so numb
[Chorus]
They don’t give a damn about us
Your pretty tears are going to waste
You dug a grave for both of us
And now it’s too late
‘Cause you got what you want
Now bow down to your God
And no, he doesn’t give a damn about us
And no one’s gonna save you
[Bridge]
This is what you wanted, right?
A little blood to soothe the hatred
This is what you wanted, right?
First in line to pay the price
This is what you wanted, right?
Somebody else to blame as it all burns
This is what you wanted, right? (What you wanted, right?)
Bury all of us alive
They’re pounding down the door (Pounding down the door)
What are you waiting for? (What are you waiting for?)
[Chorus]
They don’t give a damn about us
Your pretty tears are going to waste
You dug a grave for both of us
And now it’s too late
‘Cause you got what you want
Now bow down to your God
And no, he doesn’t give a damn about us
[Outro]
They don’t give a damn about us (They don’t give a damn about us)
They don’t give a damn about us (They don’t give a damn about us)
They don’t give a damn about us (They don’t give a damn about us)
They don’t give a damn about us
And no one’s gonna save you
