Sanctuary Lyrics
[Intro]
I see the oceans rising
Fire and water
The war that’s been raging
Years and years and ages and eternities
But now, we look to the blood red sky
And see what’s been raining down all of this chaos on all of us
An illusion of power, a crumbling tower
A golden calf and a death wish for anyone who dares to see the obvious truth
The power is ours
[Verse 1]
This is for the ones who gather strength in silence
It isn’t over (It isn’t over)
This is for the ones who rise against your violence
It isn’t over (It isn’t over)
[Pre-Chorus]
Am I strong enough to believe?
‘Causе I can’t see you but I can feel you there
[Chorus]
Sanctuary, breathе it in, scream it out
No one’s coming to save us
It doesn’t scare me, I’m with you all the way down
Changed by the pain, we know who we are (Oh)
[Verse 2]
This is for the shedding skin that bore your sickness
It isn’t over (It isn’t over)
This is for the living truth of our resistance
It isn’t over, we’re taking over
[Chorus]
Sanctuary, breathe it in, scream it out
No one’s coming to save us
It doesn’t scare me, I’m with you all the way down
Changed by the pain, we know who we are
[Bridge]
All the light in the world (All the light in the world)
All the love in your heart (All the love in your heart)
Endless lies controlling every mind they infect
And it’s still not enough, it’s never enough
[Interlude]
Sanctuary (Sanctuary, breathe it in, scream it out)
No one’s coming to save us
Sanctuary, hold on to what you love
[Chorus]
Sanctuary, breathe it in, scream it out
No one’s coming to save us
It doesn’t scare me, I’ll be with you all the way down
Changed by the pain, we know who we are (Oh)
